Writing HW due Tuesday, Sept. 8th:

        1. Read the poem “Design” by Robert Frost several times to help you understand the meaning; read it aloud as well so that you can hear the rhyme scheme of the poem; note its pleasing rhythm. 
        2.  Follow the instructions on your handout of “Design” to the letter.
        3. Note how Frost chooses his words very carefully (in particularly, his adjective choice).  Do the same with your poem.  ALWAYS DESCRIBE YOUR NOUNS!
        4.  Be sure to follow Poetry Rubric #2 precisely.
