Writing HW due Dec. 8th:
1. Proof/edit/revise your interpretations. Make sure they are as casual as possible & modern day language!
2. Remember to be keeping your LOGS OF TIME! Refer to the example that I gave you…that is what I want them to look like. (MUST BE TYPED & NOT HAND-WRITTEN)
3. Be sure to put together a “dress rehearsal” with your partner this week.
a. Time your dress rehearsal & put that time in the upper right hand corner of your project rubric #2 where it says: *Presentation Timed Length: ______.
b. As you practice your lines, be sure to FOCUS ON TONE & MANNERISMS!
c. Your time should be as close to 5 minutes as possible; a tad under or over is fine.
d. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! IF YOU ARE WELL PREPARED, THAT WILL HELP TO ALLEVIATE THOSE NERVOUS BUTTERFLIES!
4. BE SURE TO CHECK OFF EVERYTHING ON THE RUBRIC THAT YOU ACCOMPLISH! YOU’D LIKE TO GAIN EVERY POINT POSSIBLE AND NOT LOSE THEM UNNECESSARILY!
a. On project rubric 1, be sure to fill out:
Write your scene choice: Act ___, Scene(s) ______
b. On project rubric 2, be sure to fill out:
- Effort and Time (How much time did you put into this project?) ______________
(ADD TOGETHER interpretation & ALL practice times, etc.)
c. Have project rubric 1 & 2 out along with your interpretations ready to hand to me as you go up to present.
5. Please let me know through email this week whether or not you are going to do a video presentation or an oral one. Cole will have the laptop/projector set up for us for those who may need it. Thanks, Cole!
