4. Read Macbeth Act 4 and answer questions below (cut and paste)

 Macbeth Act 4

What are the witches doing at the beginning of this act? 
Witch 2 says, “By the pricking of my thumb, Something wicked this way comes.” Who was she talking about?
What is Macbeth’s attitude towards the witches this time?
What four things does Macbeth learn from the witches and apparitions and how does he react to them? What does each show/say?

Macbeth says (about the witches) "Infected be the air whereon they ride, And damned all those that trust them!" What is Macbeth, in effect, saying about himself?  
Where is Macduff?  
How does Macbeth react to Macduff's departure? 
 Why does Macbeth have Macduff's family and servants killed?
Why does Lady Macduff's son say liars and swearers are fools?
The thematic paradox “Fair is foul, and foul is fair,” (I.i.10) is restated by Lady Macduff.  What does she say? (include line numbers)
What news does Ross bring to Macduff and what is his reaction? 

What action is taken by Macduff and Malcolm?
Malcolm says, "Angels are bright still, though the brightest fell. Though all things foul would wear the brows of grace, Yet grace must still look so." What does that mean? 
Macduff says, "Oh, Scotland, Scotland!" Why?    
What type of king does Malcolm tell Macduff he (Malcolm) will be?  Why does he say such things?
