Final Research Paper Homework due
April 28th Thursday OR May 1st, Sunday: 1. See examples of 3 great MODEL RESEARCH PAPERS on p. 188-210.
* Choose one of the three and read through it! I like the one on the Holy Grail on p. 196-202. This will be very helpful to you as you figure out the correct format, etc.
2. Number every page of your paper in the upper right hand corner with the EXCEPTION OF THE OUTLINE page. (See example research papers, p. 188-210.)
3. FOLLOW RUBRIC #7 PRECISELY…There are many details on this rubric…check them off as you accomplish them!
4. SEE FINAL INSTRUCTIONS HANDOUT…FOLLOW IT PRECISELY!
5. Be sure to fix any errors on your Intro, Body, Conclusion, Works Cited & Final Topic Outline (IF YOU SEE GREEN, THAT MEANS FIX IT!) I surely don’t want to grade the same errors twice!
6. Email your FINAL RESEARCH PAPER in this order…that is AFTER you have edited, proofed and READ THE ENTIRE PAPER OUT LOUD! /LISTEN FOR REPETITIVE WORDS!) on
April 28th Thursday by 8:00 a.m. (8 of you signed up for this time slot) or May 1st, Sunday by midnight (
SEND AS ONE WORD DOCUMENT).
1) Introduction
2) Body (3 main points=minimum of 3 WHOLE PAGES!)
3) Conclusion
4) Works Cited
5) Final Outline w/ Thesis (no page #)

Next Tuesday in class (May 3
rd), I will be handing back your research papers (all graded, hopefully, however, I reserve the right to turn some of them back to you on May 10
th!)
8. If you signed up for your Oral Presentation on May 3
rd (NEXT TUESDAY), come prepared with the following:

*Rubric #8 b. Time written in upper right hand corner (time yourself!)
c.
*Written part of Oral Presentation d. Note cards
*You will hand these to me as you come up to present! 9. Be sure to join us next Tuesday night from7:00-9:30ish for the showing of “Radio” at the Leslie home! It will be a fun, relaxing evening, and yes, you’ll get extra credit!
