- Grammar: pages 12, 14, 16
- Memorize Prepositions on page 1 from “like” to “without” for a quiz next week
- The Witch of Blackbird Pond – read chapters 2 & 3
- Study Guide: Reading Worksheet 1 page 18 answer questions for chapters 2 & 3
- Vocabulary Worksheet 1A – page 20, Section B – finish the words on page 21, Section D
- Spelling Worksheet 1B, 1C, 1D, and make spelling flashcards from the words on page 20 with the word on 1 side and the definition on the back side (or use the website www.quizlet.com)
- Spelling test: On a separate sheet of paper, write the spelling words as they are dictated to you from a parent. Have your parent grade the test and write the number wrong at the top of the paper. You will turn in the test on Tuesday. Your parent must sign your test or 5 points will be taken off. Write each word you spelled incorrectly 5 times on the test paper.
- Personally Thinking on page 15 – On a separate sheet of paper, write or type 1 paragraph (4 to 5 sentences) answering question #9. Do you think the free way that Kit was raised would be a good way to grow up? Give reasons for your answer.
