Read and take Cornell Style Notes for Chapter 5. Your notes will be handed in and and graded as a History Test Grade. Remember, longer notes are not necessarily better- review the post on how to take Cornell notes if you are having difficulty.
Print out a blank map of the world (google free printable maps) then draw in and label the following:
The equator
The Prime Meridian
Tropic of Cancer
Tropic of Capricorn
Label a line of longitude
Label a line of latitude
On your map of the world label the continents and: the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean Ocean, the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf, the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea. Label Turkey and India.

Research your the paragraph from the Economist and write a paragraph or two to verbally present to the class explaining a bit of background. We will go over this in class tomorrow.
