For homework this week, write a persuasive speech using the handout I gave you previously. You may choose a topic from the following list or there are many websites with topic suggestions for good persuasive speeches.
Remember...you MUST attempt to persuade your audience, so choose your topic carefully. It helps if it is something you are passionate about. After you've chosen your topic, choose a side and turn it into a thesis statement that you will "prove" to your audience and persuade them to see things your way.
