Research Paper Homework #5 due Sunday, April 17th:
 
1.  Read ch. 18, “The Introduction & Conclusion,” p. 135-142.
 
2.  PLEASE EMAIL ME THE FOLLOWING BY midnight., 4/17, Sunday:
     A.  Type out your introduction & conclusion ONLY! 
     B.   FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD…THAT IS…YOUR RUBRIC #5! 
     C.  At the end of your paper, type YES OR NO, I read ALL of ch. 18.

   
3.  Your final paper will be due in 2 weeks & 5 days on Sunday, May 1st at midnight. 
     a.  Plan to succeed…allot your time accordingly…this paper cannot be late!
     b.  As you begin to REVISE, IMPROVE, & FIX ERRORS ON THE BODY OF YOUR RESEARCH PAPER, REMEMBER THIS THOUGHT...
WOULD YOU WANT TO READ YOUR PAPER OUT LOUD TO YOUR PEERS NEXT WEEK?   MAKE YOUR PAPER INTERESTING! 
             1)  Be sure that ALL of your quotes are truly "wow" quotes!
              2)  Include a brief story that (paraphrased/summarized) validates & proves your thesis statement! 

4.  May 10th, Tuesday, will be your Research Paper Oral Presentation! THIS IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!   More details to come…I’m thinking a Power Point presentation would be great!
