Research Paper Homework #6 due SUNDAY, April 24^th:
 
1.  Read ch. 19, Revising & Proofreading – p. 143-148
 
2.  Read ch. 20, Works Cited (MLA) – p. 153-168
 
3.  PLEASE EMAIL ME THE FOLLOWING BY SUNDAY, 4/24 BY MIDNIGHT: 
     A.  Type out your Works Cited page (DOUBLE-SPACE ALL!)
     B.  Be sure to follow your rubric precisely
     C.  At the end of your paper (Works Cited page) type YES or NO, I read all of ch. 19 & 20.
     D.  Although the FINAL RESEARCH PAPER IS NOT TECHNICALLY DUE TILL MAY 1^ST, IF SOME OF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GO AHEAD AND FINISH IT EARLY AND EMAIL IT TO ME BY APRIL 28^TH, THURSDAY BY 8:00 A.M., THAT WOULD HELP ME OUT AS FAR AS GRADING!  HOWEVER, PLEASE DO NOT RUSH THROUGH IT JUST TO GAIN A FEW BONUS POINTS.  IF YOU NEED THE EXTRA TIME, PLEASE TAKE IT! I’D RATHER YOUR PAPER BE EXCELLENT THAN RUSHED!



4.  This is a light week with only your Works Cited page due, so you should be revising (fixing errors), improving (making it even MORE INTERESTING), and proofreading your body, introduction and conclusion; if you didn’t have a thought-provoking question in your conclusion…DO IT NOW!     
    
5.  Your FINAL research paper will be due on SUNDAY, 5/1 by MIDNIGHT!   
      Allot your time accordingly…this paper cannot be late!
 
6.  FINAL SCHEDULE OF UPCOMING HOMEWORK DUE & PRESENTATIONS:
     A.  Works Cited page due 4/24, Sunday.
     B.  Wrap up of Research Paper 4/26, Tuesday
     C.  EARLY Research Paper due 4/28, Thursday by 8:00 a.m. (+3 bonus points)
     D.  FINAL Research Paper due 5/1, Sunday by midnight
     E.  EARLY ORAL PRESENTATIONS due 5/3, Tuesday
     F.  FINAL ORAL PRESENTATIONS due 5/10, Tuesday (last day of class)
 
7.  Remember to come to the Leslie home on Tuesday, May 3rd @ 7:00 p.m. to see the movie, “Radio.”  Yes, you will get extra credit, but I’d like to think you’d come just to hang out with us because we are just that awesome and it will be our last fun time to be together as a class!     (Although we have FUN in every class!)
