Due September 15th: 1.
Do 10 push-ups, four different days.

Do 15 sit-ups, three different days.
3.
Practice First Basic on two different days. Stop during the kata to check your stance. When you check your stance also check your elbow strike. Make sure your elbow is in tight and palm is facing up.
4.
Practice the ippon nukite (one finger strike) that we learned in class today. .
5.
Practice the haito (ridgehand) strike that we learned in class today.
6.
Practice both the offense and defense of the kisos that you learned in class. Yellow belts – practice te offense and defense of kihon #1.
7.
Start to familiarize yourself with the Japanese terms we use in class. Here’s a link to a set of flashcards on Quizlet. We will be having a quiz on these terms in a few weeks.
